The Cates Park Concert Series, presented by Musart, is cruising into gear – set to be one of the best series yet. Already Musart has booked some of the Vancouver’s top up-and-coming talent to grace the stage at one of North Vancouver’s most beautiful parks.
The Cates Park Concerts are free outdoor events that feature 27 emerging Vancouver artists during this summer’s seven-event series. The entertainment is fun for all ages and perfect for the picturesque setting provided by the beautiful Cates Park stage in our very own North Vancouver. These concerts give people the much-needed chance to get in touch with talent growing in their back yard. This final concert will showcase 9 singer/songwriters.
The solo singer-songwriters will spend this evening in a similar style to that of the “Songwriters of the Round”. Groups up 3 songwriters will each take the stage together. They will then take turns performing their material until each has performed 3 songs. Each performer will therefor be performing for roughly 15 minutes.
