Reza Peyk – The art of stand up comedy has officially been a part of my life since 2003. As a kid I was always intrigued by the jokers. As an adult I agree with the kid! Comedy has allowed me to travel and expand my horizon. I’ve met some wonderful people in the process and been lucky enough work with some of the greats and play some notable venues including the House of Blues in Las Vegas and The World Famous Laugh Factory in Hollywood.
Poetry and the art of spoken word are also a big part of my life. I’ve recently produced, directed and starred in a documentary film called “Just A Comic”. The film was shot during Maz Jobrani’s Browner & Friendlier Live Nation Tour. It gives an exclusive insight to “life on the road”.
For a kid who’s dreams have always included a pair of headphones and a vision, blurry but a vision it’s been a hell of a ride so far. I look forward to wherever the journey leads.
