‘Lamondance and Friends’ is a fundraiser, and a night to celebrate Vancouver’s extraordinary dance community. The event aims to raise money to support dancers that they bring from Brazil in a scholarship program with accommodation, food and to put towards the new production ‘Rooted’ that is taking place on June 5th and 6th at the Dance Centre in Downtown Vancouver on Davie St. This event is produced by an International Training and Performing Contemporary Company for aspiring professional dancers, at RNB Dance and Theatre company based in Lynn Valley, which has been part of the Lynn Valley community for 25 years.
Lamondance is an unique and distinct dance program in Vancouver bringing an alternative for those who want to make this great profession into a career. Lamondance has helped put more than 20 dancers in professional dance companies or programs abroad in the past 6 years.
