Pure Magnolia ReVamp Charity Gala

Event Details

The Vancouver Aquarium

We are happy to announce our first annual Pure Magnolia ReVamp Charity Gala benefitting the YWCA Crabtree Corner. With the help of one of Vancouver’s top event planners Flawless Events and Lynn Valley’s very own Zazou Salon and Spa we have come together to make five women’s wedding dreams come true.

We know that addiction can be a touch thing to kick, especially on the Downtown Eastside. YWCA Crabtree Corner provides a sober living facility for women who are using and pregnant and for women who are working on their sobriety and are hoping to change their lives and get their child/children back.

YWCA also provides a meal program for all residents and a lunch program for anyone on the DTES. They also have a donation room that opens every morning. Allowing residents to use any of the items donated. Whether it’s children’s clothing, books, adult clothing, etc. YWCA Crabtree Corner also provides free childcare for children 6 weeks to 6 years old for impoverished women in the neighbourhood. And, they also provide basic skills training for the women and often once they have completed the program the women come back and volunteer their time in any capacity they can.

We have found five women, who have gone through the YWCA Crabtree Corner and have removed themselves from the DTES and are ready to start a new sober living chapter of their life. We want to applaud their efforts and are wanting to make their one final dream come true, to look and feel like a princess on their wedding day.

Come out on the night of October 2,2013 and take in the sights at Canada’s largest aquarium and enjoy the entire charity gala among the beluga’s.

The evening will consist of canapes, a VIP lounge (VIP Ticket Holders ONLY). A cash bar and many more amazing perks from our very own sponsors.

VIP tickets get you a seat during the fashion show as well as a jam-packed swag bag full of items from our sponsors. Plus, we will be giving away a door-prize that will be revealed on the night of.
