North Vancouver Community Arts Council has partnered with Family Service of the North Shore to display artwork from 140 children on what means to care for one another.

Family Services of the North Shore hosts an annual Winter Family Ball. This one of a kind fundraising event raises money to support programs and services available to families living on the North Shore.

In 2016, The Winter Family Ball committee established The Art of Caring, a pre-event to the annual gala, designed to help children understand why we need fundraising and community-minded activities.

Through an afternoon of art, media, and group activities, the children were asked to convey what caring for one another means to them through art and words. The three framed artwork collages on display are the result of the combined and individual efforts of all the children at The Art of Caring.

Save the Date: Monday, April 9, 12:15-12:45pm

We invite you to join Family Services of the North Shore to learn more about the The Art of Caring and how the project is evolving.
