Do you love to write? Are you interested in sharing your writing with others, both in person and digitally? Then join the library for a special three-session program, for youth ages 10 and up, on creating your own eBook! Session 1 (Feb. 21): Workshop a piece of your writing (short story, poem, story excerpt, or piece of fanfiction) with local author and creative writing teacher Lindsay Glauser Kwan. Session 2 (Feb. 28): Design and create an illustration to complement your writing using a library iPad. Session 3 (March 7): Put your writing and illustration together as an eBook us0ing the eBook creator app. With the author’s permission, ebooks created in this program will be made available on the library website for the whole community to enjoy! For more individualized feedback at our first session workshop, please submit writing piece to Rebekah by email ( by February 14. Otherwise, plan to bring your writing piece to the first session.

This is a pilot program, and space is very limited.

Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
