-The Seymour Art Gallery Music Series presents-
Cannery Row
The Seymour Art Gallery presents Cannery Row, the first concert in our 2012 Music Series. Taking place inside the Gallery on Thursday April 19th at 8pm, this event promises to “get your toes tappin’, your hips shakin’, and your head lookin’ for a place to let it all hang out”.
Cannery Row is a new West Coast trio of talented musicians who have come together from a range of different musical backgrounds to create an eclectic collection of songs. You will hear the influence of Mardi Gras in New Orleans, the blues from Memphis & the Mississippi delta (the land of Chuck Berry), the Latin rhythms of Cuba, and a sprinkle of the early roots of jazz as the trio performs songs from their self-titled debut album.
Cannery Row is: Gary Comeau on the piano, fiddle, accordion, mandolin, guitar, banjo and vocals; Tim Hearsey on the guitar, slide guitar, banjo, and vocal; and Chris Nordquist on the drums, percussion, washboard, and vocals.
Let yourself be taken away on a musical journey while experiencing awesome local music in our intimate art gallery venue.
