Celebrate with us on September 29th & 30th
St. Andrew’s United Church building is 100 years old (1912-2012).
1044 St. Georges Avenue, North Vancouver, V7L 3H6
Saturday, September 29
At noon the chimes will ring and the celebration begins. Enjoy a Historic Church Tour, take a peek at the amazing pipes behind the old pipe organ, and see exhibits of baptisms and weddings from the past decades. Sing your favourite hymn, enjoy cake in the tea room then move over to the Christian Education Building for more displays of our rich heritage. Perhaps you were one of the thousands of children who passed through these doors. Come, reminisce and celebrate one of North Vancouver’s important heritage buildings.
Sunday, September 30
The celebration begins in the morning, come join us in a very special church service at 10:00am. At 7 o’clock that evening we will be hosting “Voices Unite”, a concert comprised of several North Shore United Churches with a massive choral sound. You don’t want to miss a great day of music and celebrating history!
