Talking Heads: A Contemporary Look at Headdresses

This exhibition features fourteen surface design artists who have created contemporary works inspired by historical and cultural headdresses. These artists have explored diverse cultures and historical artifacts to use as inspiration to make a creative statement about themselves and their own cultural environments. They have applied unique approaches and techniques utilizing traditional materials or re-purposed objects, resulting in truly inventive work.
FREE Family headdress making workshop: Saturday, August 24, 2-4pm
Join Brigitte Rice and Anne Marie Andrishak to creatively express yourself through the making of your own unique headdress (supplies included).
