The Vancouver International Women in Film Festival and Centennial Theatre are excited to present THE BEST OF THE FEST ON THE SHORE, featuring the screening of an award winning feature film from VIWIFF 2018 along with a Matrix Award winning short.
The films that were chosen from international submissions for VIWIFF 2018 shared a collective inspiration.
This year’s films were reflective of and contemplative about peace. The peace that is found in the solitude of a serene landscape. The peace found in a revelation, an understanding or a family reconciliation. And the ongoing fight to uphold societal morals and values in the glaring absence of peace.
