MONTH LONG CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION AT PARK & TILFORD “
“Kick off the Christmas Season. Light Up the North Shore Nov 30th”
North Vancouver, BC – at 7 pm on Friday, November 30th, Mayor Darrell Mussatto of the City of North Vancouver will officially launch the month long Park & Tilford Christmas season by activating more than 50,000 sparkling lights which illuminate Park & Tilford Shopping Centres renown community gardens.
Entry to the Gardens this year is by donation, with proceeds going to support both the District and the City of North Vancouver’s Firefighters Charitable Societies. Last year’s light display raised over $22,000 for local charities.
Starbucks will be serving hot chocolate and coffee at the gate, the Public Dreams orchestra will set the mood with traditional Christmas music and our old friend Santa will be here handing out candy canes. Frosty and the Christmas Elves, face painters, stilt walkers and carolers will help start the launch this season with festive flair!
Every Friday evening throughout the month of December from 6pm-9pm the merchants of Park & Tilford will host FAMILY FRIDAYS in the gardens!
