North Shore Chorus ‘These Shining Lights’ – Mount Seymour United Church

The North Shore Chorus is joined by guest choir Serious Options lead by music director Noralee Quest for a program that includes music based on the wonders of the heavens. This eclectic mix of music revolves around the theme of heavenly bodies of the celestial variety.
The program includes: Samuel Barber’s Sure on This Shining Night, a choral arrangement of Coldplay’s Fix You, Earl Peach’s From the Air, Haydn’s The Heavens Are Telling, Norman Dello Joio’s A Jubilant Song, Mendelssohn’s The Lark, Monteverdi’s Sfogana Con Le Stelle, and Hijo de la Luna by J.M. Cano.
The North Shore Chorus will join Serious Options to sing a medley of Aquarius and Let the Sunshine In, from the musical Hair, arranged by North Shore Chorus accompanist Barry Yamanouchi.
