North Shore Canada Day Parade – 10am
Make sure you stake out your spot early along the North Shore Canada Day Parade route. The parade starts at 10 am sharp, and usually last about an hour. As usual there will be lots of colourful floats, cultural groups and lots of goodies for the kids.
The parade begins at Grand Boulevard & 13th heading west toward Lonsdale. Then continues up Lonsdale, west on 17th Street and ends at Mahon Park, where you can get an up close look at the floats.
North Shore Canada Day Celebrations
When: July 1, 12-4pm
Where: Waterfront Park, North Vancouver
The Rotary Club of Lions Gate will be hosting the North Vancouver Canada Day celebrations at Waterfront Park in North Vancouver. This is a free family-oriented event with a variety of activities, games and entertainment for all ages! From live multicultural performances to interactive crafts and activities, there is something for the whole family. there will also be some of Vancouver’s BEST food trucks. The celebrations are going green this year, so be sure to bring your own water bottle as there will be an on-site water wagon.
Canada Day Craft Market & Activities
Where: Waterfront Park, North Vancouver
The North Vancouver Community Arts Council is hosting free art activities for kids, with artist/instructor Maureen Coles. Children will learn printmaking with a Canada theme, and create their very own print flags. There will also be an artisan craft market along the picturesque seawall.
