SHOREFEST is now entering its 6th year as one of Vancouver’s largest, free community concert series.
Started in 2009 in conjunction with the Celebration of Light fireworks, SHOREFEST showcases some of Canada’s top musical acts in one of Vancouver’s most picturesque settings on the shores of English Bay. Over the course of 3 nights in the summer, hundreds of thousands of spectators gather at English Bay to enjoy the fireworks presentations while being entertained by acts on stages located on the Bathhouse Roof at English Bar and in the park at Sunset Beach.
Past acts have included Great Lake Swimmers, The Trews, Hannah Georgas, Joel Plaskett, Jim Cuddy, Spirit of the West, Dan Mangan, 5440, Yukon Blonde, Jim Byrnes and Steven Page of The Barenaked Ladies, Serena Ryder and Mother Mother.
Preceding the fireworks, SHOREFEST (presented by LG 104.3 FM) will host free concerts on two music stages in English Bay and Sunset Beach.

Sunset Beach will be alive beginning at 2:00 pm each day of the fesitval. Check out all the free giveaways, prizes and games with our sponsors. Join us in The Family Zone, presented by Clearly Contacts for bouncy castles, facepainters, roaming mascots and more! Community and cultural programming on our SHOREFEST Stage will delight audiences of all ages throughout the day.
