The Plaza

Family Movie Nights in the Plaza are back by popular demand. Come watch free family-friendly movies under the stars on the big screen in Civic Plaza. Seating is limited; bring your blanket or picnic chairs. Movies begin at sunset, but come early for the theme nights which include: art activities, piano sing-alongs, trivia and costumes!

ABOUT THE MOVIE

Riley (Kaitlyn Dias) is a happy, hockey-loving 11-year-old Midwestern girl, but her world turns upside-down when she and her parents move to San Francisco. Riley’s emotions — led by Joy (Amy Poehler) — try to guide her through this difficult, life-changing event. However, the stress of the move brings Sadness (Phyllis Smith) to the forefront. When Joy and Sadness are inadvertently swept into the far reaches of Riley’s mind, the only emotions left in Headquarters are Anger, Fear and Disgust.

COME EARLY & BIKE BEFORE THE MOVIE

While you wait for the movie to start come practice your bike skills! Ride with us in the Plaza… Don’t have a bike? That’s ok, we’ll have some that you can try. We’ll have helmets to borrow too.
The bike course, brought to you by North Shore Safety Council, will be set up ready for riders before each movie. Please check the times below as they are different for each movie night. The course will be located in the parking lot at City Hall, adjacent to Civic Plaza.

July 22 7pm to 9pm
