The Kidney Foundation of Canada, BC Branch is holding its inaugural 8k Kidney Run and it is being hosted on the North Shore! As part of the 2011 provincial Kidney Walk Campaign this fundraiser is aimed at raising Organ Donor awareness as well as funds to help support the work of The Kidney Foundation. In BC, 85% of people surveyed were in favour of organ donation, but only 17% have registered. To save lives, we need to Close that Gap. So come out and join us for a 2.5k Walk, 5k Fun Run or run that extra mile and sign up for our first 8k competitive Run!
