Many of you have heard about Chelsea, a 35 years old North Vancouver mother of two sets of twins who is battling extremely rare form of brain cancer that B.C. Cancer Agency has never treated before. There have been only 4 previous cases of this cancer in Canada but none in an adult. Chelsea is the owner and principal artistic director of the North Shore Academy of Dancing and has touched thousands of lives. Proceeds from this event will go directly towards Chelsea’s treatment and the care of her family.
Known for her charitable work, Vlada Mars is well known pianist and piano teacher from North Shore. Previously she performed in Vancouver, Toronto, Belgrade, Serbia and London U.K. After many years researching minimalist movement she is now composing and performing her own music inspired by books, movies and her own dreams. Each piece is telling a story which Vlada likes to share with her audience. Her piano concerts are intimate voyages into her world and her music is reminder to slow down and appreciate each moment.
Vlada will perform her own pieces.
