North Vancouver Capilano
The Capilano area of North Vancouver is located just west of Lonsdale and extends up to Capilano Road which lies just adjacent to the Lions Gate Bridge. Capilano Road extends as far north as Grouse Mountain and is a busy street for tour buses, skiers and hikers. Capilano Mall is home to major merchants, like WalMart and Sears, and other familiar retails stores. Other businesses in this area lie along the Marine Drive corridor. Lately, there has been a boom in residential development here with many developers launching new condo projects and new homes.
