Lydia Meister is climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in support of the Alzheimer Society of B.C.! It’s the highest peak in Africa at over 19,000 feet. All funds raised will be used by the Society for education, support, advocacy and research in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
Tickets are $30.00. This includes all-you-can eat pizza (choice of four pizzas), a choice of beer, wine or soda, taxes and gratuities.
The theme is “being active” – so the silent auction will be sports and adventure related. There will be white-water rafting, windsurfing, indoor rock climbing, cross-fit, etc.
