Members of The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrations (SCBWI) represent a diverse group of emerging and published artists.
Sparking the imagination and evoking wonder is a common goal for the nine artists whose work will be on display. Merging art with story, these talented illustrators believe the experience of reading picture books fosters a rich bond between reader and child.
A range of styles and media will be on display at the District Library, including watercolour, pen and ink, photography and multimedia.
Join the artists at the opening reception on Saturday, February 13 from 2 – 4 pm at the Lynn Valley Library for a family-friendly event.
