What: Invasive Plant Pull and Native Planting Event
Where: Lynnmouth Park (near Cotton Road and Brooksbank Ave.) North Vancouver
When: Sunday, September 30 from 10am – 2pm

Join the City of North Vancouver, Evergreen and other community groups for an invasive plant pull and native planting event at Lynnmouth Park in celebration of Rivers Day. With park improvements underway, the City is pleased to celebrate one of our greatest natural areas in North Vancouver.

BC Rivers Day began in 1980 and has grown exponentially since then. In 2005, Rivers Day was recognized by the United Nations and became World Rivers Day. It’s now celebrated by millions of people from communities around the world. Come out and meet your neighbours, help remove invasive plants and plant local species in our park. Tools, plants and light refreshments will be provided.
