FREE Culture Days Event! Woodblock printing is an important Japanese art form. During this four hour workshop, Janna Kumi will lead us through a little history and some of the Japanese printmaking techniques. We will take a short outing into nature.
You will learn how to carve your wood block and then print it on special mulberry papers, and if time permits, colour and mat your print. Program takes place at the Elder’s Council for Parks Heritage Centre during Culture Days. REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
