North Vancouver Election

I am a working mother who has lived most of my life on the North Shore. A former investigative journalist at Global TV, I’m a communications consultant who contracts with governments, environmental organizations, First Nations and recently the BC Human Rights Commissioner. I am a 15-year volunteer and advocate for vulnerable children and youth. I’m…

North Vancouver needs affordable homes and reasonable-cost rental housing. I will prioritize these over high-priced condominiums and environmentally destructive concrete high-rises. I favour gentle densification. This involves simplified approvals for duplexes, triplexes, secondary suites, coach houses, and small lot infills. Public…

I have always been involved in the community, either as a volunteer or in an elected role, an ethos I learned from my dad Bob, who served two terms on City Council. I was elected three times to the School Board, serving from 1993 to 2001. I was a District appointee to the North Van…

"A District for all to thrive for generations to come." In 2014 I was inspired to run for office to bring a young, professional voice to Council, combining my transportation and sustainability expertise with my experience as a young person who struggled to find suitable housing in the District. Eight years later, as I look…
