Big Ideas
Responding to Public Art

April 8 – April 23, 2011
Opening Reception: Thursday, April 7, 7-9pm

BIG IDEAS’s is a student art exhibition.
Art works have been created by North Vancouver High School Students in response to the Vancouver International Sculpture Biennale.

Through this program, students explore current topics such as homelessness, cultural identity, science and technology, societal norms, and the environment. In creating cross-media artworks, students challenged their imaginations, responding to these poignant topics as they are evoked in the Vancouver Biennale art installations.

This exhibition is a collaboration between CityScape Community Art Space and the Vancouver Biennale, and three North Shore High Schools; Carson Graham, Bodwell, and Argyle.
