Government – North Vancouver Council, MLAs and MPs Description

Municipal, Provincial and Federal governments all exist in North Van. At the local level, we have both the City and District of North Vancouver, where both have Mayors, Councillors and staff. Our Provincial leaders include two MLA’s or Members of the Legislative Assembly. They are responsible to represent the taxpayer’s voice and issues to Parliament in Victoria, BC, our province’s capital city. In Ottawa, our local population’s well being is the responsibility of two Federal MP’s or Members of Parliament.
