Rosemary Rocksalt is bringing a heightened Bagel experience to the North Shore and you’ll be able to savour it for yourself at the Grand Opening, Friday April 5 from 6:30 am to 7:30 pm… All sales from the grand opening day will go to the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation.
Selling authentic Montreal-style bagels and bagel sandwiches, Rosemary Rocksalt’s Amazing Bagels begin with the highest quality ingredients available, are kettle boiled, and then baked in a 10,000 pound stone-hearth flame oven. Freshly baked throughout the day, customers are treated to bagel recipes that have made tummies smile and hearts leap for over two decades. The Store is a theatrical experience, a Bagel Cirque du Soleil.
Born from founder Joel Siegel’s passion for Montreal and his 22 year history at Siegel’s Bagels in Vancouver, Rosemary Rocksalt’s traditions are being brought to North Vancouver by his daughter Parise and her partner Ken Sim (co founder of Nurse Next Door). Having her own hand in the family business for 18 years, Parise is well versed in the time tested bagel recipes that have had people coming back to Siegel’s Bagels for over 20 years.. Dedicated to the preservation of traditional mom and pop business values and services, whimsy and warmth will be evident in every detail of the Rosemary Rocksalt experience.

In addition to raising funds for a great North Shore charity, the Grand Opening Celebrations will also include artisans demonstrating old world techniques to making bagels the Rosemary Rocksalt way and special guest Darryl Mussatto, Mayor of North Vancouver will be in attendance from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon.
