Making History Fundraiser at MONOVA, North Vancouver

A first for one of the North Shore’s beloved cultural gems, Making History is MONOVA: Museum & Archives of North Vancouver’s inaugural cocktail-style fundraiser – a night of community, culture and celebration in support of its innovative exhibitions, educational programming and indigenous storytelling.

Join some of MONOVA’s closest friends and partners, including Mayor Linda Buchanan (City of North Vancouver) and Mayor Mike Little (District of North Vancouver), for a truly extraordinary occasion featuring Proud Little Warriors of the Squamish Nation, with live music by Brockton School’s World Music Program and The Canoe Sun Trio, featuring J. Knutson (formerly of Spirit of the West). Auctioneer Fred Lee will be encouraging you to raise your paddles as part of MONOVA’s thrilling live auction segment.

There is  a whole lineup of spectacular experiences to bid on. Highlights include:

  • 7-night stay in Santorini
  • Rocky Mountaineer Destination Tour
  • Winery Tour of Lingua Franca, Oregon

A hosted bar and chef’s stations plus exclusive after-hours access to MONOVA’s award-winning galleries are all part of the gala. Join in and help ensure the stories of North Vancouver continue to be told for many years to come!
