Onboard the Spirit of the Nation - Docked at Mosquito Creek Marina

We are delighted to invite you to an evening of live music, magic, and dance on the water. Join us for our Fall FunRaiser, which will take place from 6:00-11:00 PM on Saturday, October 4, 2014.

Our keynote speaker for the event will be stand-up comic and founder of Stand Up For Mental Health, David Granirer.

Live music will be performed by Lee Morin, Geoff Eyre, and Chilliwack’s Doug Edwards. A blues dance class will be taught by Tamara Cohen on our canopied outdoor deck. Other musical and magical acts will soon be announced. A cash bar and hors d’oeuvres will be provided.

The festivities will take place on ”Spirit of the Nation”, a ship docked for the event at Mosquito Creek Marina “A Dock” near Waterfront Park in North Vancouver. Evening parking is available for a flat rate of $3.00 in the parking lot nearest the dock.

Proceeds will benefit the work of the Pacific Bipolar Foundation, which includes the Friends of Bipolar peer support program, the production of educational films and publications, and research projects aiming to improve the diagnosis and treatment of people with bipolar disorders.

Tickets are $100 each, plus additional processing fees if purchased online or with a credit card at our Eventbrite page at www.eventbrite.ca. We will keep a guest list of confirmed guests at the door, so you can simply check in when you board the ship. Tickets may be purchased through the EventBrite website at www.eventbrite.ca, or by mailing or dropping off your cash/cheque payment to:

Pacific Bipolar Foundation
#219-260 W. Esplanade Ave.
North Vancouver, BC V7M 3G7

If mailing your payment, please specify the name for your reservation, the number of guests attending, and your phone number, email, and mailing address so that we can send you a tax receipt. A portion of every ticket purchase will be eligible for a tax receipt, which will be calculated and issued after the event by the Pacific Bipolar Foundation; we expect this tax-deductible portion to be approximately $70 per ticket.

Many thanks for your support, and we look forward to celebrating with you on October 4!
