Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet presents the Vancouver premiere of Wonderland: a visually stunning, dynamic reinterpretation of Lewis Carroll’s beloved tale. Acclaimed choreographer Shawn Hounsell takes audiences on a spectacular trip down the rabbit hole with breathtaking, athletic dance, an original soundscape and a reworking of characters from the classic story, including Alice, The Queen of Hearts and The Mad Hatter. Wonderland runs from March 24 to 27, 2011, at 8pm and March 27 at 2pm at The Centre in Vancouver for the Performing Arts. Tickets from $32.50 at Ticketmaster.ca or 604-280-3311.
