The gods are in search of a good person but all that is available is a prostitute with a golden heart. Yet, in order to maintain her goodness, she must commit bad deeds disguised as a man. Love, power, mercy and money tear her apart. Director Stuart Aikins sets this adaptation by Tony Kushner (Angels in America) in East Vancouver’s Hastings Street and brings Brecht’s politics to Vancouver. Almost a musical, this play with songs is a joy to watch. Join our cast as they break as many theatrical conventions as they can.
