We’re thrilled that you have committed to Whistler Water One Climb on June 7, 2015 on the Grouse Grind.  It’ll be an amazing day of inspiration, fun and fresh air. This guide has been designed to help you prepare for the big day and get you geared up for the climb.

This year 100% of all funds raised will support Free The Children’s special project in Kipsongol, Kenya, where thousands of people lack access to clean water for drinking, sanitation and hygiene.

Time:

  • Start area open: 7:00 am
  • Pre-climb rally and presentations: 8:50 am
  • First wave heads up the Grind: 9:00 am
  • Mountaintop After Party opens: 9:45 am
  • Special Recognition: 10:30 am
  • Mountaintop After Party ends: 12:00 pm
  • Mountaintop activities: Open until 9:00 pm

Event access and waiver requirements: On Sunday, June 7th 2015 between 7:00 am – 9:00 am, please proceed to Parking Lot C at the Base and enter the Whistler Water One Climb Fun Zone through one of the following gates:

Regular Entry/New Registration: If you have not brought in your fundraising money, picked up your wristband yet or are a new One Climber, come on over and we’ll help you out.

Blue Wristbands Only: If you already have your blue wristband, easy-peasy! Just flash your blue wristband and you’re in.  Wristbands can be picked up in advance at Grouse Mountain Guest Services at the Base between 8am-8pm from Monday, June 1 to Saturday, June 6.  You’ll need to make sure you’re registered and you also have your signed waiver.

Teams: If you registered as a team, one representative from the team can pick up all wristbands provided they hand in signed waivers from each of the team members.

Signed Waivers: Please note that a completed and signed waiver must be presented in order to obtain an event wristband.

Parent meeting kids at top: If you are unable to climb, we will be selling Alpine Experience tickets at a special rate of $20 plus tax (regular price $41.95) until 9:45 am in the One Climb start area (limit of one special rate ticket per registrant). 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to One Climb and Free the Children.
