Face Your Worst Fears at Western Canada’s Most Frightening Event of the Year Fright Nights at Playland returns October 11th with all new dates, prices and hours.
Online tickets go on sale September 23rd
Vancouver, BC: Western Canada’s most successful Halloween experience, Fright Nights, is returning to Playland at the PNE October 11th to November 2nd, 2013. This year, Fright Nights is introducing all new dates, hours and prices, making this annual favourite even more accessible to Halloween lovers across the Lower Mainland.
For the first time in its history, Fright Nights will be operating an extra two weekends this year. In exchange it will be closed on what are the more traditionally slower days: The first Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and the following two Mondays and Tuesdays. This not only allows Fright Nights to run for a longer period of time, but will also pass over savings to guests with decreased ticket prices of $25-$35 at the gate. Guests will also have the option to purchase a Fast Pass, which offers the same access as a regular gate pass PLUS access to an expedited line for each Haunted House.
Guests will get to face their fears with the popular haunted houses: FEAR, Car-n-Evil, Hollywood Horrors, Asylum, Darkness and Haunted Mansion. In addition to these six haunted houses, Fright Nights is bringing back its most popular entertainment group. The Monsters of Schlock, the world’s craziest two-man comedy circus show, returns to Fright Nights to perform an amazing stunt show influenced by the early days of Vaudeville, the 3 Stooges and the carnivals of yore.
Due to the overwhelming demand, Fright Nights is putting a cap on the number of tickets sold per day. Tickets must be purchased for a specific date. Event nights have limited availability and may sell out.
Admission includes unlimited access to all six haunted houses, shows and 12 rides. (There is an additional charge for the Hellevator and Revelation.) Parking is NOT included.
