The Gordon and Marion Smith Foundation for Young Artists is a charitable organization, established in 2002 to support the North Vancouver School District’s acclaimed Artists for Kids program, and, more recently, the operation of the Gordon Smith Gallery of Canadian Art.

We are honoured to name our foundation after Gordon Smith and his late wife, Marion. Together they supported art, education and learning through their commitment to the community and the arts. Their tireless work and dedication over the past 50 years has helped to shape the lives and the work of those who have benefited from their generosity.

Gordon Smith’s work can be seen in celebrated collections such as, the Vancouver Art Gallery, the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC. and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, England.
