Charlene Long 2D: Inspired by her travels to international cities and influenced by architecture and urbanity, Charlene has created a series of mixed media paintings titled City Connections. In her creations she combines history, her memories, and what she imagines might happen in the future. Charlene grew up in North Vancouver and currently lives in the West End. She has a background in interior decorating, has taken classes at Emily Carr University and paints at Salt Water Studio on Granville Island.

Laza Fonkin 3D: Laza entered and became enamoured with the glass world by making glass eyes for his wood sculpture faces. He enjoys the challenge and respect of working within its chemical and physical nature. His latest inspiration involves the intricate and time-consuming process of weaving glass. He cuts numerous colourful glass strips, layering translucent over opaque, then fires it in a special mold to establish the woven curves. Weaving the finished strips, he re-fires, ultimately creating a shimmery, colorful woven glass pattern. Laza attended Emily Carr University.
