Bev Ellis’s Art installation, entitled “Together: Broken”, opened December 5 and runs until February 23 at the City Atrium Gallery, in North Vancouver.
The Clay sculptures, span 28.5 feet long and 6 feet high, a collection of individually carved and slab built multi-fired pieces, reminiscent of a birch forest. Her distressed and carved surfaces express a metaphor for the human condition and nature, where beauty is found in brokenness.
Join Bev at her Artist Talk January 17, 12:15-12:45 at the Atrium Gallery (141 West 14 Street).
