Please join us for the next Sustainable City Dialogue on Monday, November 28, 2011. Learn what biomass is, where is comes from, how it works and how it could potentially be applied in our community. We will be exploring the prospective issues around this technology, including possible barriers and benefits.

Biomass Energy 101 features an exciting panel of experts:

Taylor Zeeg, Associate, Compass Resource Management Ltd.
Francis Ries, Energy and Emissions Management Group Leader, Levelton Consultants
Dr. Stephen Sheppard, Professor and Director of UBC’s Collaborative for Advanced Landscape Planning (CALP)
Moderator: David Thomson, Cool North Shore
The evening will include a short presentation from each panellist, followed by an open discussion. Join the conversation about this renewable energy source and what it means in our community.
