Call for Artisans and Craftspeople
The North Vancouver Community Arts Council is putting on five craft fairs throughout the summer and is currently looking for skilled crafters to participate in our Canada Day Craft Fair (July 1, 2011) at Lonsdale Quay, Civic Plaza Craft Fairs, (July 9-10, and August 13-14), and Lynn Valley Square Craft Fairs (July 23-24, and August 27-28).
This is an excellent opportunity to sell your art or crafts and gain exposure in the community. Fairs, such as the Canada Day Craft Fair, draw large crowds and are a popular venue for local artisans.
All exhibitors must be members or become members ($35 annual fee) of the North Vancouver Community Arts Council. To participate in the jury process there is a $10 fee that will be charged. Exhibitors’ art or crafts will be subject to the approval of a jury to ensure they are hand made by the submitting artist. Only arts and crafts accepted by the jury may be sold or exhibited.
The jury will take place at CityScape Community Art Space, 335 Lonsdale Avenue, North Vancouver BC V7M 2G3. To book a jury appointment, please call the North Vancouver Community Arts Council at 604.988.6844 or email: programmes@nvartscouncil.ca. Jury spaces are on a first come, first served basis.
