FarmFolk CityFolk Presents an afternoon of music , games and Prizes!
To celebrate the FarmFolk CityFolks’ (FFCF) charity’s notable 20th anniversary, a group of Vancouver Film School (VFS) students have organized an afternoon of music and activities to launch a limited edition compilation album entitled Bread & Butter. All net proceeds of its sales directly benefit the FFCF’s charity projects.
FarmFolk CityFolk is a non-profit society working to cultivate a local, sustainable agriculture in British Columbia. Their projects provide access to and protection of farmland, support local growers and producers, and engage communities in the celebration of local food. Since October 1993, FFCF has supported community-based sustainable food systems.
FFCF regularly engages in public education with farm and city ‘folks’; actively organizing and advocating around local, timely issues; building alliances with other organizations and businesses; and harnessing the energy of passionate volunteers. For the past 20 years FarmFolk CityFolk has gained a well-earned reputation for leadership and partnership building in the sustainable agriculture community.
