Presented by the City and District of North Vancouver Vancouver Coastal Health, NVSD44, NVRC and Centennial Theatre
School performance – 1:45 pm
Public performance – 7:00 pm
At a time when friends, parents, and teachers have their sights set firmly on what the future will bring, Nina finds herself slipping into a dark reality that she cannot understand. Still Falling follows Nina as she tries to come to terms with what it means to struggle with depression and anxiety, and to rise above it with as much strength, and as few scars, as possible. A realistic, honest and bitingly funny look at the difference between ‘teen angst’ and mental illness and the ways we can help vulnerable kids find their way out of the dark.
Running time: 50 minutes followed by a 10 minute Q & A
