Join Friends of the North Vancouver Museum & Archives Society for an evening of rollicking good entertainment on the opening night of “Good Timber: Songs and Stories of the Western Logger” at Presentation House Theatre.
A celebratory fundraiser for the Friends of the NVMA, the evening includes a pre-show reception with appetizers, drinks, and a new exhibition about North Shore logging history (7pm), a 90 minute musical review (8 pm), and a post-show dessert, meet and greet the cast (9:30 pm).
“Good Timber” is a tribute in songs and stories to the men and women who worked in the forest in days past. Its been called “part musical revue and part history lesson”. It’s sure to be a lot of fun!
