2D Jeff Wilson: Paintings
Jeff is a self-taught realist acrylic painter exploring a range of Canadian & Scottish urban & rural narratives. Subjects are characteristically cropped, to give dynamic & asymmetric compositions. Canvases are rendered in a harmonious but distinctive, commonly vivid palette. This combination of composition and colour reflects a confluence of visual techniques pioneered by the Scottish Colourists & Group of Seven.
