The Intouchables – September 26 – 7 pm
Based on a true story, The Intouchables tells the story of the improbable friendship between a wealthy quadriplegic, and Driss, a young offender. When a paragliding accident leaves him paralyzed from the neck down, Philippe requires a caregiver to assist him with his daily physical needs. Philippe rejects the highly qualified candidates, in favour of Driss, a recently released ex-con who applied for the job only to continue to get welfare payments.
