Pieces of Eight vocal octet is bringing its summer concert to the North Shore. Not quite your usual vocal ensemble, Pieces of Eight combines classical, musical theatre and contemporary songs, with staging and costumes, in programs that range from serious and beautiful to…well, not so serious!
This year’s selection includes favourites ‘Sweet Caroline,’ and ‘Tis the Last Rose of Summer,’ to songs from the new Broadway musical ‘Shrek,’ to an eerie piece by Dutch composer Marius Flothuis.
