Maplewood Farm in North Vancouver is a must-see attraction for kids of all ages. Maplewood is the last remaining farm on the North Shore, with goats, rabbits, cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, donkeys and ponies. There are over 200 animals and birds. There is a covered picnic shelter where you can eat your lunch.
You can get up close with the goats in the petting areas. You can feed the ducks and the rabbits, so don’t forget to bring some bunny food along. Duck food can be purchased with your entrance tickets.
There is a small gift shop located in the main entrance area with all kinds of farm related merchandise. You can also rent little ride on tractors which are quite fun.
The Sheep Shearing Festival at Maplewood Farm is a fun and educational for the whole family. Come see the sheep get shorn for the summer. There will be games to participate in and and wool and duck demos to watch. Special Event rates apply.
