North Shore Jazz is a part of the annual Vancouver International Jazz Festival. The yearly line-up features an eclectic mix of stellar artists at venues such as Capilano University, Presentation House Theatre and the Kay Meek Centre plus free concerts at the Civic Plaza and in the West Vancouver Memorial Library.

Kick off summer with “Vancouver’s hottest house band” (The Province) and their catchy cover tunes at dance-friendly Lynn Valley Village.
With three JUNOs, one Grammy and five West Coast Musician of the Year nominations among them, this collective – called ‘Vancouver’s hottest house band’ (The Province) – is a local marvel. Members have performed with artists including k.d. lang, INXS and Wynton Marsalis. As Soulstream, they come together to perform catchy covers in “incredibly creative” (Vancouver Sun) fashion. With Rebecca Shoichet (vocals), David Steel (vocals), Chris Gestrin (keyboards), Randall Stoll (drums), Darren Parris (bass), Dave Corman (guitar), Vince Mai (trumpet), Bill Runge (baritone and alto saxophone), Raphael Geronimo (percussion), and Karen Graves and Dave Say alternating sets (tenor saxophone).
