St Andrew’s United Church

Laudate Singers and guest harpist Joy Yeh invite you to come in from the cold to candlelight and a celebration of the wonders of the Christmas season!

Ceremony of Carols by Benjamin Britten is the centrepiece of this festive potpourri of music for choir and harp. This 20th century Christmas favourite using medieval texts and musical style is nestled among Renaissance motets and recent creations by Paul Mealor and Ola Gjeilo.

Laudate loves to commission local composers and the fruits of this will be enjoyed with Bruce Sled’s hauntingly expressive Wassailers’ Song and Kristopher Fulton’s effervescent celebration song, Snow Falls on Christmas Eve.

A festive intermission reception gives you time to socialize with friends and musicians.
An afternoon concert to warm your heart.

Tickets: General $30, Seniors $25, Students $10, Kids 12 & under free
