Artists for Conservation Festival

Event Details

Grouse Mountain, North Vancouver, BC

Want to Experience the Art of Conservation this fall? Look no further. Artists For Conservation launches the first international Artists For Conservation Festival in Vancouver. From November 5 to 13 at Grouse Mountain, the 10-day international art and environmental education event will bring out the leading nature and wildlife artists from around the world – including Robert Bateman – and immerse visitors in art and nature through workshops, film, and a world class art show.
Youth, families and connoisseurs alike will have the opportunity to view, compare and discuss the world’s top nature and wildlife art, learn about conservation issues, participate in workshops, listen to inspiring lectures, watch live painting demos and documentaries, and directly support Artists For Conservation (AFC) programs and conservation work through the purchase of artwork and festival merchandise.

The Artists for Conservation Festival opens to public with an opening celebration, First Nations welcome, and special guest appearance by Robert Bateman and Guy Harvey on Saturday, November 5, 2011. Festival programming is free with Grouse Mountain Skyride ticket admission.
