Godspell, the visionary hit musical, first opened more than 40 years ago off- Broadway. It has thrilled and entertained audiences around the world ever since. A critically acclaimed Broadway version just opened on Nov. 11 in New York. Now Highlands United Church, known for its musical leadership, presents a new cast of Jesus and his disciples for four nights in February. From the musical numbers you know so well—like Day By Day and Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord—to vaudeville, pop and gospel inspired song- and-dance numbers, Godspell is a great performance based on the parables and the story that have held our attention for more than 2,000 years
