Introduction to Abstract Painting & Acrylics with Tanya Slingsby
Spring 2013 Series
Wednesday Evenings, May 15th – June 19th, 2013 6:30pm to 8:30 pm
This open, six week class provides an introduction to the fundamentals of acrylic painting. Students will explore techniques, colour mixing, form, value and composition while acrylic paints, mediums, brushes and tools. This class is for beginner and novice painters, with group demonstrations and one-to-one teaching.
6 Session Pass includes four 16”x 20” canvases and art materials for these canvases. Brushes and easels are available to use during class. Students can bring their own canvases and materials if desired.
Flex Pass (3 Sessions) includes two 16″ x 20″ canvases and art materials for these canvases. Brushes and easels are available to use during class. Students can bring their own canvases and materials if desired.
Drop In Classes include one 16″ x 20″ canvas and art materials for the canvas. Brushes and easels are available to use during class. Students can bring their own canvases and materials if desired.
Spaces available: 9 per class. Students with Flex Passes (3 classes) should reserve spaces by telephone, email or through the contact form available at www.tanyaslingsby.com at least 24 hours in advance. Early reservations are recommended.

Sessions not used can be rolled over to the next Summer Series for a $30 fee per pass.
Please Note the Cancellation Policy:
There is a no refund policy. If you need to cancel please give 48 hours notice. You can transfer your credit towards another workhop or class of similar value. Classes will be charged in not cancelled 48 hours in advance. Classes are subject to cancellation if there are too few reservations made 3 days before the class date. In this rare case, the class will be rescheduled and a free class pass will be given to students who have already reserved and paid.
