Sweet Papa Lowdown is a unique ensemble of swingin’ musicians who bring a modern take to the classic jazz and blues tunes of the 1920’s & ‘30’s. Drawing from such past masters as Ma Rainey, Bo Carter and Leroy Carr, the band combines the raw intensity of country string blues with the sophisticated horns of New Orleans.
